KunstWorks lead the effort to launch a unique foundation dedicated to the German-American artist Carl Heidenreich (1901-1965). At the launch celebration at the Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive’s Cafe Babette on November 20, 2016, friends and family, collectors and art historians gathered to pay homage to Heidenreich and renew the commitment to advancing the artist's legacy for years to come.
In order to better serve late-career artists and estates by providing a range of individualized curatorial and legacy services, KunstWorks formed a joint venture with Terri Cohn Art Services. Through Alter Arts, we are proud to have advised the Sonya Rapoport Legacy Trust in advancing the legacy of the Berkeley-based conceptual artist through publications, exhibitions, and museum acquisitions.
We are honored to work with innovative arts organizations to advance socially engaged programs and lay the groundwork for sustainability. The Center for the Arts & Religion at the Graduate Theological Seminary, where Alla serves as President of the Advisory Board, emerged in September 2016 as a reinvented, forward-looking institution serving the scholarly community and the broader public.
